To day we first did typing tutor for a while than we worked on plant studio. We had to make different flowers and name them. Than Mr.Chashatet came to talk to us. Than we got together and talked about what projectw we want to do. Last we got back on the p.c. and worked for the rest of the day.

oh yeah - the assignment is not to make different flowers and name them. It is to create a plant or two (or three) and identify the parts. You need to label the parts of the plant - just like the diagrams you have in your notebook.

we need to work on your writing skills a bit - don't worry...there is only a week left so we can't torture you too much. I am going to ask that you:
1. type your blog or any other writing you do, into openoffice text. You can easily check your spelling and some grammar before you publish your writing on the web - or give it two us. I am not expecting perfect writing and spelling - you know I can't even do that - but you need to work on this so that you can communicate better and people can easily read and understand what you have to say.
2. A daily journal is not a schedule - what you have been writing is more of a list of what we have done (i mean a partial list!! - you do not mention everything). This is not a journal - at least the type of journal we have been asking you to write. Give more information - what did you learn with Dr. Cashatt? What did you learn with Pietra? What did you see in her lab? What does she do in her job?
When someone has difficulty writing - they usually have difficulty communicating through writing. It is hard to write so you do not write all that you could. So - this brings us back to #1 above. You need to work on your writing (at mta and at school) so that you can communicate better and it is easier for you to write what you think.
3. There is no excuse for mispelling names. You have their names in your notebook. It lazy and disrespectful to not take a minute to look up the spelling after they took a lot of their time to try to teach you. You need to change this immediately.
