It is a sound editors it can be used for cutting layers of special effects, place sound at certain times. If I was into muisic production I would use it to take differnt tracks cut things out and add more to it. Than I would add funny voices to it. To find help you can go to google, put Audacity in the search box. Lots of sites should come up even if you dont have it downloaded. It will have a site to download it on your P,C, The tools in this programe is much differnt from open office because this is an audio programe unlike open office its more about pic. and text.
